Our strategy Helsinki Learns – Future Compentences
Future keys to success
Future competences involve the ability to think about the future in a creative and anticipatory manner and find alternative solutions together. Shaking up established thinking patterns and operating models requires the courage to engage in activities the success or result of which
is not guaranteed. Trust and faith in the future comes from our ability to face uncertainty. In addition to competences and skills, we strengthen the values and attitudes needed in order to build a sustainable and just future.
A robust foundation facilitates creation
Social and emotional skills form a basis for good learning, growth and well-being. It is important to focus on learning and practising them at different ages. Encounters play a major role in the development of social and emotional skills. We practice skills both alone and collectively and learn to resolve issues together and assume responsibility.
